SAFETY
SWALLING HAS A 77-YEAR HISTORY OF SAFE CONSTRUCTION PERFORMANCE ACROSS ALASKA.
Swalling’s safety program is designed to protect the health and well-being of our personnel, subcontractors, and others who may be present on site. Our program was developed with input and regulatory guidance from the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Alaska Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It is based on purposeful planning, leadership, training, incentives, accountability, screening, and continuous improvement. Every member of our company participates in program implementation, and all of our people are empowered to stop work activities to correct unsafe situations and prevent accidents from happening.
Going home to our families unharmed after work is our greatest measure of success.
